The Hebrew Cemetery Association provides dignified burial places for the greater Charlotte Jewish Community. Being an independent not for profit organization provides the association the opportunity to serve all those in our Jewish community, both affiliated and unaffiliated. There are many options available to meet our community’s needs.
The association has caring professionals and volunteers who can assist with advanced planning and at the time of need in conducting a funeral. Those impacted by a loss will benefit from reaching out to the Association for guidance.
Every Jewish individual, regardless of financial ability, is cared for and accommodated for their funeral needs.
- Traditional burials take place in all sections, most often with a Kosher casket. However, NC law does permit burials without a casket (green burial).
